What is Thinglink?

ThingLink engages students by utilizing rich media that can translate any picture, video, or virtual reality experience into learning. The website and application-based program both promote the formation of icons or "tags" that may be connected to rich media. For example, you might use a renowned painting of your choosing, then use tags to give text detailing a method or historical notes about that section of the painting – or even a link to a video or story that provides further information. ThingLink's advantage is in its capacity to bring in a wide range of rich material. 

It is not just for instructors. It may also be used to create and submit work, pushing students to combine several sources of knowledge and overlay it all into one coherent work. From tagging maps and charts to constructing tales inside photographs, this tool has enormous educational potential that is only limited by the user's ingenuity. This is an excellent formative assessment tool for collecting learnings over time, such as before a quiz.
