VIRTUAL REALITY #15
What is Virtual Reality?
If you ask the Internet, "What is VR?" the definition you will get is: a computer-generated simulation of a three-dimensional picture or environment that may be interacted with in a supposedly real or physical way by a person wearing specific electronic equipment, such as a helmet with a screen inside or gloves with sensors. Let's examine VR in terms of education.Virtual reality allows students to visit locations all over the world without ever leaving the classroom. Imagine pupils being able to examine Anıtkabir while sitting at their desks. This is possible with virtual reality schooling. Virtual reality has the potential to improve education by providing students with memorable and engaging experiences that would not be possible otherwise. Furthermore, all of this may occur in the classroom. Every kid has access to VR, and instructors can simply monitor it. Virtual experiences offer a remarkable ability to engage and inspire students.
In contrast to traditional techniques of reading and writing, VR allows pupils to learn via experience. The ability to view and experience exotic destinations within the classroom is entirely unique to VR, and it inspires students. It engages students, stimulates their imagination and encourages creative thinking. Students are encouraged to engage with one another during the VR experience. Following that, they are eager to express their opinions and discuss their experiences. We examined the VR experience, which is very accessible in today's technology and is developing more and more every day. We've seen that VR can be incredibly useful in education if used correctly. So, see you till the next blog!
